The International Thespian Society is the only theatre honor society for middle and high school students in the United States. Affiliation brings credibility and distinction to students, theatre programs, and schools.
International Thespian Members …
● Can attend the Georgia State Thespian Festival (Thescon) in February and/or Internationals in the summer, with workshops, college and scholarship auditions, receive assessments on tech and performance skills ● Receive a membership card, certificate, and induction pin. ● Receive a print or digital subscription to Dramatics magazine, the only publication edited exclusively for theatre students and teachers. ● Are eligible for student leadership opportunities at the troupe, state, and national levels that provide forums to learn and put their leadership skills to work. ● Earn ITS honor society membership to enhance college and employment applications. ● Can purchase a Campbell Thespian sweatshirt! Thespian Membership Dues (Lifetime) are $35.
To join Campbell High School Thespian Troupe #5324, students must earn at least 10 Thespian points. Points can be earned by performing in productions, doing technical theatre work for a show, doing community service, and many other ways. See Mrs. Coleman or Mrs. Williams for more info! |
